NTL – Il Nuovo Traduttore Letterario was founded in 2000 by a group of students who trained at the Scuola Europea di Traduzione Letteraria (SETL), the brainchild of Magda Olivetti.
The group has grown over time with the arrival of new members who share NTL’s professionalism, work ethos and values.
NTL currently brings together 22 professional translators of various nationalities, together with a large pool of trusted and proven collaborators who work across a wide range of languages and disciplinary fields.
We translate, revise and edit in the main world languages, and have been doing so for over 20 years. We provide editorial translations and services in print and multimedia formats for publishing houses, museums, communication agencies and cultural and research institutions.
We operate prevalently in the fields of literature, non-fiction, art, science popularisation, cultural communication and advertising.
Besides translation, we offer transcreation and a full range of specialist editorial services, including revision, editing and proofreading.
